Lane Stewart is a filmmaker and artist working across film, photography, writing, design, and music. Stewart's cinematic practice spans narrative, documentary, fine art, advertising, and music videos, with a distinct visual language developed over decades of professional work.

Early in Stewart's career, studio experience with the Coen Brothers and Hughes Brothers informed a methodical approach to image-making. This foundation led to collaborations with major brands including Nike, Adidas, Dior, Levi's, and Google. For over a decade, Stewart shaped the visual identity of luxury brand Fear of God, establishing a highly influential creative partnership that became foundational to contemporary fashion aesthetics.

In 2015, Stewart co-founded Halcyon Veil, a record label and creative entity, with Grammy-nominated music producer and composer Rabit. Halcyon Veil's imprint has been made in the art world as well invited to take part in exhibitions at ICA London, Blum, Duarte Sequiera, and Bill Arning.

Stewart’s Recent projects include directing a debut short film, Alpha (2025), and presenting the solo photography exhibition Grey Area at Kamp Gallery in Portland (2025). in 2022 stewart was invited by arch mission to include works in a time capsule using nanotechnology, which was launched into space via lunar lander alongside works by amalia ulman, fiona connor & jasper spicero.
